Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of productphoto.bnj.app ("the service"), operated by Hugo Software. Using the service means you accept them.
1. What the service does
The service prepares product photographs for online marketplace listings. It crops an image to a chosen preset, removes a plain background, places the product on a background colour of your choosing, adds a contact shadow, renames files and packages a batch as a ZIP archive.
The browser studio is free, has no usage limit and adds no watermark.
2. No affiliation with any marketplace
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or partnered with Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, Trendyol, eBay or any other marketplace. Those names appear on this site for one purpose only: to identify which published seller guidance each preset follows. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
3. We cannot promise your listing will be accepted
The service gets the measurable part right: output dimensions, how much of the frame the product fills, whether the background is pure white, and the encoded file size. It measures the finished image and reports what it found.
Marketplaces also judge things no software can check — whether the photograph is yours, whether it shows the item you are actually selling, whether the lighting is honest, and whether the listing complies with their policies. Those decisions are theirs alone.
The figures shown in our marketplace table are our reading of publicly published seller guidance on the date stated on that page. Marketplaces change their rules. Their own page always takes precedence over ours. Check it before you rely on anything here.
4. Your photographs, your responsibility
You may only process photographs you own or are licensed to use. You must not use the service for images that are unlawful, infringe someone else's rights, or that you do not have permission to process.
You keep all rights in the images you put in and the images you get out. We claim nothing.
5. AI operations and credits
Three operations require an image model and cannot run in your browser: cutting a product out of a busy background, placing it on a new scene, and enlarging a small photograph. If you use one, your photograph is transmitted to our servers and to a third-party processing provider. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is sent and how long it is kept.
AI operations are not enabled at the time of writing and credits are not for sale. Nothing on the site charges you today.
When they are enabled:
- Credits are bought as one-time purchases. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
- Credits do not expire.
- One credit is one AI operation on one photograph. Prices per operation are shown in the AI section of the site.
- If an operation fails, its credit is refunded automatically to your balance.
- Your licence code (
BNJ-XXXXXXXX) is your identity. There is no account and no password. Enter it on another device to restore your balance. - If you lose your licence code we cannot recover it, because we deliberately store no email address against it. Keep it somewhere safe.
6. Refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. If a credit pack does not arrive, or the service does not do what this page says it does, write to us at the address below and we will refund the purchase.
Because credits are consumed immediately when an AI operation runs, spent credits cannot be refunded. Unspent credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase on request.
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything here.
7. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass its rate limits, resell access to it, or use it to process content that is unlawful.
We may suspend a licence code that is being used to abuse the service.
8. Availability
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may change or discontinue features. We will not remove a feature that you have paid credits toward without refunding unspent credits.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hugo Software is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost sales, removed listings, suspended marketplace accounts, or loss of images. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
